This whimsical wall quilt uses hand dyed orange and purple cotton fabric. Each of the orange rectangles are quilted with a different color thread to alter the hue and create texture. The purple circles are outlined with thick green threads. The bold black and white stripes sharply offset the round purple shapes. I love using irregular edges on my quilts and this one is no exception. The curved binding is an olive green, hand dyed cotton fabric. There is a hanging sleeve on the back at the top where a dowel or rod can be inserted for hanging. This piece would also look stunning as a table runner.
