There is a bit of irony in this art quilt! The fruits were painted and constructed prior to getting appliquéd onto the quilt. The raspberries and lemons convey texture and shading through heavy quilting and painting. Various decorative threads are quilted throughout the background. My signature irregular edges are bordered with a thin piping of black to frame the piece. A sleeve is on the upper back edge where a dowel or rod can be inserted for hanging.
